DeepDrive

An AI brainstorming partner that asks better questions

Most brainstorming ends as a long list and no decision. DeepDrive is a partner you talk to, by voice or text, that moves you from a pile of ideas to the one you can act on.

Brainstorming alone usually stalls in the same place

You start with energy, write down ten ideas, and then nothing happens. The list is not the problem. What is missing is someone who asks the question you have been avoiding: which of these would you actually be proud to finish? Which one are you only listing because it sounds good?

A friend or a good colleague does that naturally. They interrupt, they push on the soft spot in your plan, and they ask for the reason behind the reason. Most of us do not have that person on call at ten at night, or at seven in the morning on a walk. That is the gap DeepDrive fills.

How a brainstorm with DeepDrive works

  1. Pick a topic. Choose one from the library of hand-picked ideas, let DeepDrive suggest one, or write your own. A title is enough.
  2. Talk or type. Start a voice conversation, or open a text chat. Your partner speaks first, so you never have to begin with an awkward hello.
  3. Answer one question at a time. Your partner asks a single question, listens, and builds on what you said instead of dumping a list.
  4. Get challenged, once. At the right moment your partner questions one assumption and offers one option you had not considered. That is usually where the new idea comes from.
  5. Leave with a summary. When you finish, the conversation becomes a short summary: what you covered, what you decided, what is still open, and the next steps.

Topics that work well

The best topics are open-ended, personal and decision-oriented. A few examples of things people bring:

  • Whether to take a role in another city, and what would have to be true for it to be right.
  • The smallest offer you could charge for this month, and who the first ten buyers are.
  • A name, an angle or a first sentence for something you are making.
  • A hard conversation you are preparing for, and what you want from it.
  • A trip, an event or a move, where the real question is what you want it to feel like.

A useful rule: write the topic as a question you could not answer in one line. “Ideas for my app” is vague. “What would make someone open my app on a day with no game?” gives your partner something to work with.

Choose how your partner thinks

DeepDrive has three thinking partners. Nova is the warm guide: patient, encouraging, good at helping you find what you already believe. Atlas is the sharp strategist: direct, structured, and quick to test your weakest assumption and push toward a decision. Juno is the playful spark: curious and quick, with a what-if for when you are stuck. All three follow the same rules. Only their tone and the kind of push differ.

If you tend to circle, try Atlas. If you are anxious about the choice itself, try Nova. If you are stuck in the obvious, try Juno. You can change partners any time, and each topic remembers its own history.

What you take away

Brainstorming is only useful if the next session can build on the last. After every conversation DeepDrive writes a short summary on the topic, in the same shape each time:

  • Summary: two to five bullets of what you actually covered.
  • Decisions: anything you settled, in your words.
  • Open questions: what is still unresolved.
  • Next steps: one to three concrete actions.

Next time you open the topic, your partner starts from your open question, not from zero.

Voice, text, or both

Some ideas flow when you say them out loud, especially when you are walking or have your hands busy. Others need the care of typing. DeepDrive gives you both on every topic, with the same partner and the same summary, so you can switch depending on where you are. Questions people ask

Is DeepDrive an idea generator?

It can offer an option you had not considered, but its main job is different: it asks questions that help you find and test your own ideas, then saves what you decided.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. A topic title is enough. Your partner starts the conversation and asks the first question.
